My 96 is the same way and when I asked others last winter to go look at theirs and comment I got no repsonses. I believe it is designed that way as the tires seem to be straight up and down or parallel to each other. I checked the swing arm for a bend, bushings for wear, and found nothing obivious. Fender sure does sit tigher to the drive side of the tire and tweaked off to the right side (sitting on the bike). If you find something we should know or look for, please advise all of us. Max
